I have been craving them. And eating them.
Almost everyday, in fact. I don't know what it is. I need an egg over easy then plopped on hot buttered toast and along side a cup of hot tea. I am sure my butt is going to appreciate it in a couple of days.
I have been enjoying my week alone. Meg went back to school. Although, I think she has a full fledged sinus infection. She sounds awful and has green snot everywhere. I know I should take her to the doctor, but it really is a waste of time. She won't take the antibiotic anyway. I have kept her hopped up on Mucinex and OJ. Those are the meds she likes.
Hubby is not really liking his time away. He is a routine type of person and this has really put a bump in that. I do miss him, but I also enjoy the whole bed to myself, eating what and when I want and being in charge of the remote. Not that I watch alot of tv. There is nothing good on yet. I think the hardest part of the day is the time between 5:30 and 7:00, which is usually the range of time he gets home. Usually I am cooking supper and tidying up. So, this part seems to drag on because he never walks through the door.
I thought that I would stitch. I think I have put about 30 stitches in an ornament I have been making. An ornament that I figured would take all of one, maybe two, nights to stitch. I think I am on week 4. Not to mention, I have several Halloween items that I wanted to stitch up. I guess I can just add that to the list. Megan is already planning the ornament she is stitching for her teacher.
I thought we would go out to eat and enjoy all the things that hubby won't eat. We haven't. We have been scrounging through the cupboards and freezer. Not that we have minded. We get home and get lazy and just don't want to do anything. I do need to go to the DMV and get a new sticker for my tag. Meg does need more than one pair of bottoms for school, so I guess tonight could be our eat out night. I kind of want to go to Olive Garden or Carrabas or something like that.
I have been working. This project should be done by the beginnng of the week. Finally. The person in charge has been rather persnickety about letting me do my job. Thankfully, the lender has been a dream to work with. I am just procrastinating in finishing. I am on the easy part now. I guess it is easier to slack off when you know you are on the down slope.

Cravings??? and there was me thinking you were going to announce a new addition to your family was on the way!!! LOL
Hope Meg feels better soon.
aw, poor Meggers (in keeping with your cute nicknames, LOL) I find that a good nasal salt water cleansing works wonders. Jenna even does it now, when she is not so well. It's tricky for kids to perform though. LOL.
Eggs and toast is it? They are the usual breakfast here. It's hard to cook them once school starts though. Seems to make them late.
As for work...slide down that hill, Jenn!
Eggs and toast are my morning staples with a nice cup of Formosa Oolong or Irish tea. Can't wait for Autumn weather to get here. That's when I really get that old kettle singing. Yum! xxoo
When I could still eat eggs, I loved eggs over easy on top of anything, so I'm with you. :)
